Affordable & Unique Unisex Valentine’s Day Gift Ideas

With Valentine’s Day less than a month away, the super organised amongst us will already potentially be thinking about gift ideas.

If you’re anything like me, you put a lot of thought into it and probably try and improve upon previous years. Things are super expensive at the moment though and there’s more important things to be spending our cash on. Which makes it even more challenging.

Something like this tabletop fireplace is quite unique and ideal for the cold month of February. It won’t completely break the bank, and it also has a romantic flare to it. I bought one for my boyfriend last year and we both love using it.

You could always just agree to skip the gift exchanging entirely this year if money is a concern. However, if like me, you just can’t help yourself then something small and personal would do just as well. Something like this little Romantic Message in a Bottle wouldn’t cost more than £6 and is a sweet keepsake that any partner would cherish.

For the singletons out there, this doesn’t have to be a holiday of doom and gloom. There are so many pros to being single, and therefore numerous reasons to celebrate.

When I was single I would organise a dinner in (or out) with fellow singletons and often buy myself a little gift. Even if it was just a bunch of flowers. My love language is gifts though …I know, I know! I even took the test twice to be sure :(. Sadly I am that shallow. Not that I’ve ever needed an excuse to spoil myself to be honest.

One of the best gifts I ever bought myself was a USB Bedside Table Lamp. I cannot tell you how much my life has improved by not having to faff with additional plug points, multi plugs or extension leads. It’s so much more convenient to have a lamp and a charger in one right next to the bed.

That’s the best practical gift, but my favourite gift to myself of all time was this adorable elephant figurine. I now understand what Marie Kondo means about things that bring you joy. This is definitely one of them! I genuinely feel happiness every time I glance upon them atop of my fireplace. A smile for less than £20? Don’t mind if I do.
